I agree that its way too late to fix anything substantial by getting rid of the Fed. The time to have done that was, like, 50 years ago. We are now only a few years shy of the Fed having been an albatross around the neck of America and, by extension, the entire globe, for 100 years! The main damage was done during the first few decades after 1913. Folks looking to fix the most badly broken things in this world by "getting rid of the fed " really need to focus on getting rid of global spinoffs of the Fed, such as BIS, IMF and, in general, the UN.
