I, too, have pernicious anemia. Unfortunately, you will probably need B12 shots for the rest of your life because you are not absorbing B12. Have you been tested for celiac? Actually, I don't think the amount of shots recommended to you is enough. The protocol is 3x per month which is not nearly enough for me. Pernicious anemia is rare and hard to get good information on. There is an international support group in the UK (where it is rare, but less rare)...
