Here is an unusal problem for you....

Last night, due to all the rain, a little toad made his way into my house. I saw him on the carpet and thought Baka had thrown up, but when I appoached the little spot on the rug, it ran off...and Baka chased it under the stove. I have my entire kitchen blocked off, so if he comes out from under there...I can catch him...but so far no toad. (God, he's fast!)

I can't blame the little guy, he must be scared to death, and he knows a dog is out there. But he will die under that stove. I have placed a little water a few inches away from it...but any idea how to lure him out other then that? (I am NOT going to put a pile of bugs on my floor...) I don't know what kind of toad he is, but he is tiny. This one is about the size of a 50 cent piece. Probably a teenager, as they don't grow much larger.

I assume he is nocturnal, as I only see these toads at night, so my plan is to wait until 10 or so tonight, rattle the pots and pans under stove, and see what happens. If he comes out pop a box over him and push him and the box to the door.

But what if he dosent come out?
