I read most people told they need more stomach acid actually have too little. I was diagnosed with severe silent reflux and after someone on yahoo answers responded how digestive enzymes helped her mother better digest food etc,I am trying to take it when I eat a meal but I have a crappy memory. I also felt better when I elevated the bed several inches at the head as this can give the digestive tract time to heal.

Also see the post where my brother healed himself of GERD using raw cabbage juice (about a quart) for 3 weeks and it went away.

Victoria Boutenko in her book "green for life" an amazing book said even as a 100% raw foodist for 13 years which is supposed to be alkalizing to the body, her and her whole family despite their excellent diet still always tested acidic but when they started drinking large amounts of green smoothies daily, they finally started testing alkaline on the nitrazine ph paper which is a sign of health.

Dr Jarvis in his research on apple cider vinegar discovered that when the urine is alkaline the body is healthy and flus etc go away. Greens are the most alkalizing food on the planet Victoria who studied many foods said and also the most nutritious..the greens of a plant like carrots or beets etc contain several times the nutrition and nutrients as the roots do.

Do at least a quart of them though I think they did far more. Be sure to alternate daily the kind of greens you use.

If anyone needs to know how to make green smoothies ask me on this thread and I will post more.

She even went to say she feels drinking green smoothies is more healing and important than going 100% raw vegan which I found amazing as adding green smoothies is a lot easier than going 100% raw. I guess doing both is optimal

I think everyone should add this to their healing program. Although I drink them sporadically, after rereading the book I am going to try to drink more. This is my 3rd day drinking a quart of green smoothies.

Remember one does not have to have their kidneys permanently destroyed as everything can be healed if we do the work. Every cell in your body is regenerated within 2 years and it is a completely new you. If it becomes worst and ages or better and one's internal age gets younger depends on what we do while we are building new cells and new kidney cells.

What drugs destroy we can rebuild..do not get mad but think of it as an opportunity to do more things that help you ultimately be your healthier self. (still thanks for warning people about these drugs).

I suggest not eating any animal/animal products as it is very hard on the kidneys.

If you feel you or others reading this cannot do it, then go to 2 meatless days a week where you do meatless vegan foods and try out new products that substitute for old ones like m,eats made form soy or wheat gluten and vegan cheese, plant milks and tofuetti sour cream, rice dream "ice cream" and so forth etc.

Then add a new vegan meal each week till you have changed how you eat. Watch the film forks over knives (can download on torrentz and watch some of the youtube videos on factory farms and animal cruelty etc to gradually move more towards a plant based diet.

Make some behavior modification charts and give yourself rewards as you reach each new goal...something you really want..that will help motivate you to do things that will help you but may be difficult to do. As you begin to feel better, that will then be a motivator as well :)
