Truly high brix foods are not by accident and if you find high brix vegetables in the regular grocers chances are the farmer new what he was doing and if so he would know that high brix produce needs no pesticides or very little depending on the farmers belief system.However much of the time organic , in my experience anyway, is almost always a higher brix reading, not much sometimes. Lemons for instance, at the grocers I find standard lemons pretty bad like a high of 3 but the organic read 7, not great very mediocre actually but better then 3! Taste is a big give away,the sweeter and tastier the higher the brix.
