I guess because I keeping hoping that I will recover like others have. I would have to admit that I am sick and who wants to do that....in otherwords denial lol. Deep down inside I know that my dr is right but I have been burned by so many drs lately its hard to trust any of them. I have had some sucess with a machine called alpha-stim that has helped with the headaches, facial pain, brain fog and anxiety however I have horrible joint pain, nerve issues (cant feel foot) rashes, extreeme sensitivity to light and extreeme fatigue. While my brain fog is better I still have memory issues. The brain issues have been the scariest for me. My dr says the brain fog and memory issues are very common with lupus and that medicine will help that, so I have decided to go ahead with treatment next month because if it will give my children back their mother then its worth a try.

I know mirena was the match that lit the fuse any kind of hormonal imbalance can set off lupus.

I really hope that you find out what is going on and start recovering. If there is anything you need or have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
