You can not generalize because you haven't reached a cure. No always resistance is developed. How many women of those have been treated with an IV Echinocandin for vaginitis ?? I am almost sure that a few if some. Echinocandins are fungicidal "in vitro" and "in vivo". This is well documented in the medical literature. Yes, NO all candida species are sensitive to Echinocandins but most of them are. CRC (this is the candida I am talking about ) is curable and even if it is difficult and need an integrative protocol, is possible. But, if you are talking about a genetic disorder or a severe immune related case, it probably doesn't have cure so far. This is no the case of people who normally visit this forum. People here have taken antibiotics, have a dysbiosis, immune suppressors such as metal toxicity, stress, or several other linked problems that contribute to candida. Again, there are people plagued with candida because more severe causes, genetic, immunologic, etc. Who lived a normal life, and had a trigger or several triggers , to develop CRC (intestinal overgrowth) can reach a cure with diligence and time.
