I understand completely. Just being online in a secular forum is a good training ground for patience! Curezone is quite a variety of worldly views, more than I've ever seen in one place. I do a lot of praying over people here. I may not know them but God knows who they are.

I know speaking in tongues is a 'hot topic' and it took me four years after I got saved to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. [Not my fault, poor teaching about 'getting it.'] If you read Acts, tongues was the first sign of receiving the baptism. When using it in a congregation it must be interpreted so people can know what was said. I have never done that but I use my 'prayer language' to speak, to pray, to sing! It has many applications.

All you need to to do ask God to fill you with His Spirit and open your mouth and by faith start speaking whatever God fills your mouth with! I used to hear tongues in my mind way before I spoke it out and when I began to speak it out in faith, it felt very awkward and strange. Like any language, after you 'get used to it' it just flows out of you anytime you allow it. It's so edifying and lifts you up in ways I can't even describe. Wonderful!

We are all a work in progress and Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith! He will not fail! =)
