Valbazen(Albendazole) Questions against Ascaris

Hello.

So, I'm on my 7th day of using Valbazen (2x 3,5ml /day) against G.I. and scattered Ascaris (large, adult ones at head, chest and back).

The effects so far have been, since day 1, that the adults are completely unable to lay eggs and that they desperately seem to try to "suck" glucose from everywhere.

I have yet to notice, that any of the adult ones would have died though. I have noticed smaller ones dead in my feces. But it's the adult ones which torment me.

So I'm wondering here, that how long can these adult worms keep going, before they starve to death? I mean, they are supposedly getting zero glucose, because of the medication, correct?

Can they keep going for more than 14 days (which is when I'll start my 1 week brake from the medication)? And IF they can, are they, once again able to absorb glucose, because I'm not using the medication for that 1 week period?

Would it be better for me to approach this with a low/zero carb diet? Does it have any value, while on this medication or on the brake period?

If you have any experience or knowledge, that how long have the adult worms survived while on Valbazen/Albendazole, then do chime in.
