Re: How to Plant a Square-Foot Garden

I think he was the one who was on PBS TV Saturday mornings detailing his ideas back in the mid-80’s. He had a lot of great ideas. As a result I decided to maximize my small 900 sq ft backyard garden space by doubling up each row of beans. What I mean by that is each row is now planted with a second row just six inches away. The production greatly increased, but not sure if it doubled, but certainly not detrimental. But then I’m short on open area that is available.
