He recommends oregano oil? Oregano oil set my intestines on fire producing mass amounts of mucus that was evident in my colonics. Anything that burns or strongly irritates the tissues of the intestines is going to cause mucus buildup. This is the bodys natural response to try to protect the tissues from being damaged.
"Oil of Oregano used intestinally promotes instead of ameliorates Candida, and I have written about why before. It damages your cells much more than it can affect Candida. Candida replicates much faster than even your own lining cells, if you can get a significant concentration there at all. It's nonsensical to use etheric oils internally. Drinking Oregano oil is a bad idea, as it kills the probiotic gut bacteria. Essential oils are for external use only, no matter what the salespeople say. Those oils irritate your own tissues as well. They can only safely be used on the skin."
I agree with this authors passage about oregano oil. I dont see olive leaf doing much for strong fungal infections. Ive tried the whole fruit diet and it made me bloat up like a balloon for too long. This was telling me that too much fermentation was going on... bad idea. If the friendly bacteria outnumber the candida in the colon I can see where the frutarian concept might work temporarily. Candida can become very effecient at converting fruit sugars into alcohols. Not to mention a good amount of fruits are high on the glycemic index and can screw with your blood sugar. Another article assuming that Candida problems are strongly realted to PH levels. Science has proven that Fungal candida prefers alkaline Ph. There is a reason why the colon's ph is acidic. There is also a reason why friendly bacteria produce a lot of acids after digesting food. There is also reasons why plants have acid components in them. Not all acids are bad. Candida "yeast form" likes an acid environment, but the more harmful fungal form prefers alkaline state. Yes all of us do have candida but we dont want a yeast imbalance or the fungal form causing havoc.
