My ND wants me to start on iodine, but I've been too scared to take it. Eons ago, when I had started testing and treating through regular medical doctors, I came up hypo and they tried me on the lowest possible dose of Armour, Cortisol, etc. and it gave me horrible, absolutely horrible reactions. And I know with Iodine, you have to constantly monitor it like thyroid and I'm just worried I'm going to have the same kind of reaction again.
