Let me do some more reading from the Doug Kaufmann books and then I will add more info.
Can you get the book(s) from the library?
There are 3 volumes and also many recipes for foods to eat that will be good for all us.

This and the Gerson Therapy books are good reading and of course they contradite each other on some food items for example, (potatoes)
GERson is pro potatoes and Kauffmann is against...and I did talk to another person and he said cut out everything white, especially potatoes except for yams while treating for parasites and to increase salt , celtic, himalyan, cell salts any of these along with Iodine and oregano.
But as sick as we all are there is always more than that to add like b12,Niacin, etc. since the worms are taking all the good stuff .

But regardless both have supplements that most of us are taking anyway.
WE have to heal our bodies and avoid certain foods to prevent further disease that we overlook nor understand.
