Getting checked for Pseudo-Tumor Cerebri...

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to give you all an update that I am in the process of waiting for my appointment with a Neuro-Ophthamologist to test me for Pseudo Tumor Cerebri.

As you know, I have healed so much since my nightmare began, but the one thing that just isn't improving...and is getting worse...is my vision. My right eye went from normal to legally blind almost immediately after insertion, and I can tell that I am starting to get blurrier now in my left as well.

I already have to take eye drops for premature glaucoma, so I can't risk having another condition that can also cause blindness. There are just too many symptoms of it that match my own. I need to do the testing just to know. Unfortunately, it looks like an MRI and a spinal tap will be in my near future. Blech.

I'll keep you updated on what I find out.
