"Yes, whatever I have stated is a lie, but it also contains the truth, too. You have missed the empty spaces between the words."
Are you talking about what you didn't say?
I am talking about the Truth that lay between words, as words cannot contain the vastness of Truth. Descartes had a similar problem when he found he could not prove that God exists in a written argument.
Nobody can. Its an age old probem. the wisemen of ancient times have continued to find that this is the fact of the matter. Somehow you believe yourself to know better than all those that have come to realize this for the many millenniums that have preceded your coming into this world.
"And you know that language changes over time, 'Philosophy' use to mean love of knowledge, love of wisdom. That has changed. Philosophy today means love of thinking, and thinking and thinking. Thinking about this, thinking about that, round & round it goes, never hitting a real target"
That's your own definiton and it is not at the foundation of the word. What real target are you talking about?
The only target worth living for, the only target worth dying for - The only target that has any worth - the target called Truth.
Interesting isn't it how you utilize the word "revamped"
I admit I am not such an intellectual as yourself, perhaps, at times I have misspoken.
Renew would probably be a better. The dictionaries of old need to be renewed, refreshed, dusted off. So much dust has gathered in language. Maybe some day we will speak in sutras, or haiku. But I see from you definitions that revamp works just fine.
Then, So what?
