But what if opposing cortisol with DHEA protects healthy tissue by balancing their ratios?

My cortisol rages...and it rages even more when I take B5 and natural vitamin C. To me, consuming B5 and C alone is further feeding cortisol's destructive pathway.

How can taking B5 etc. eventually lower cortisol by raising it even higher? Isn't this forcing the body to deal with more cortisol, almost artificially by pumping up the CoA pathway?

I don't get it somehow...

In fact, I don't get the whole mineral balancing approach the more I think about it.

How is feeding the adrenals more raw material and causing them to be more hyperactive going to remedy the situation and normalise cortisol? This is like feeding ritalin to an ADD/ADHD kid - seems like utter nonsense. Almost like pouring more gas on a fire to calm it down...

Please enlighten me more...I just don't understand.
