What is working for me...I need to get rid of this ASAP!

This website has been so helpful for me and I have scoured the internet looking for a fix, so I thought I'd try to share the love and share with you what is working for me. I have been dealing with these for about 2 years now. I have had two abcessed ones - and I don't wish that pain upon anyone. It was the worst, most uncomfortable time of my life. I have my third one at the moment. I had the second one drained and a word catheter put in  and it went away for over a year but it came back a few weeks ago around menstruation and it has slowly been growing but thankfully not infected. It was about the size of a large marble / grape on the inside and had been getting bigger and smaller in waves. I am going on vacation in 2 weeks so I am desperate to get rid of it before I go away. I do not want an abcess on vacation!!

I tried Phoebe's method and sadly it didn't work for me, (1 oz calamine lotion, 1 tsp tea tree oil & 1 tsp witch hazel on a cotton pad for 1 hour). But I am having success (finally!) using Lavender oil, tea tree oil, sitz baths with Epsom salt, hot compresses, and turmeric poultices as well as turmeric capsules.

I have been taking 4 turmeric capsules a day with milk, and the swelling has gone down dramatically. I have also taken many sitz baths in as warm water as possible with about half a cup of epsom salt. I have also been wearing loose clothing and not anything restrictive.

Try to keep the area clean, have good hygiene, don't touch it too much, and keep your hands clean if you do. I recommend good hygiene and good diet - try to cut down sugar which sometimes feeds infections. What is also helping me is a cotton pad soaked with Chamomile tea, tea tree oil and lavender oil directly on the cyst, and I use a pantiliner to hold it there for about an hour. I have also taken a detox bath with 2 cups epsom salt and 1 cup of baking powder for 40 minutes and this felt really great to rid my body of toxins and sweat out all the junk. I also have a heating pad that I apply whenever I can't be in the bath. It has been feeling like it is leaking ever so slightly, and it has reduced in size dramatically.

Most importantly - it is shrinking in size, I have kept it from getting infected, and am able to carry about my normal routine, which is most important.
