Ewww...Shower heads are full of pathogens but so is non-well water, carrying chlorine-resistant bacteria. If you install a tank filter on your shower, drop a few inches of pure, fine .9999 14 gauge silver wire in the bottom. This will provide an antiseptic flush for the shower head. Dunno about cleaning up bacteria in the water source! Ideas, anyone? How about a silver shower head?
