Worms in the throat

Is it possible for worms to be in the throat? Recently had enlarged throat after eating and it would limit my breathing so much that it blocked oxygen to my brain thus causing confusion, inability to speak, etc. I am trying to find a reason for this.

I had been eating a ton of pumpkin seeds prior to this.
