If you have abscesses in your mouth, sodium chloride (not sodium chlorite) is beneficial. Sodium chloride is ordinary salt. Put some salt in a glass of water, stir to dissolve the salt, and gargle. Salt reduces the acidity in the affected area, and enables abscesses (not cavities) to heal.

I suggest you go to a dentist and find out what the dentist recommends. It may not be as bad as you imagine. You can just go for a checkup first. Then you can decide what to do.
I have just had a very difficult time because of dentists.
I went to one dentist, and he refused to treat me because I have a golden staph infection. He was concerned that the surgery may become infected with golden staph, and all future patients would be infected.
I rang another dentist and asked if he treated people with golden staph. He said yes. So I went there. When I was there, I mentioned I did not want Xrays. He got very upset, raved on for about 15 minutes, then asked me to leave. Everyone who goes to him must have xrays. He was not open to discussion. He dictated, and he became angry with me because I had an opinion.
I lived in quite severe pain for almost 3 months. I was unable to chew anything. I needed a filling. When chewing caused pain and inflammation, the golden staph was attracted to the inflammation, and the whole area became infected with golden staph.
I went to a third dentist. He said I had gum disease, and recommended I see someone about that. I said I did not want to do that. He does not understand the severity of my golden staph infection. He eventually agreed to treat me for pain only. That is put in fillings where I need them. I needed two fillings. Now I can eat normally. I have other teeth which could be treated, but are not causing pain.
When the jaw bone becomes infected, it causes severe pain. I have found infection can be eliminated by applying heat to the infected area, which is also extremely painful. I also take oregano oil. If you don't have severe pain, you probably don't have an infection within the jaw. You probably just have something on the surface.
