Almost 5 months post Mirena

Hello, I am 30 years old, I am a mother of 3 amazing little boys. I had the Merina put in Sept. 2009 6 weeks after my youngest son was born because the Dr put me on Loestren birth control pill and I got pregnant with him when my middle son was just 3 1/2 months old. So of course she told me about the Mirena and how wonderful it was. It sounded pretty good to me! We knew we didn't want anymore right away after having them 12 months and 3 weeks apart!

I started to have some health issues just a couple months, if that, after I had it inserted. It was just tingling on and off in my left heel. My heel is now numb in that spot. I asked if the Merina could be the problem and I was told absolutely NOT! So just continued my life then about 3 months later I had a large lump appear on the back of my neck behind the right ear. PAINFUL! Pain shot up my jaw, ear and temple. I was referred to an E.N.T and he found nothing..told me it must be a lymph node. I started having sore throat, red throat, sore neck muscles, right nostril stuffy...got referred to an allergy specialist...which is good in some ways because I found out I was allergic to many of environmental things but it didn't help my problem. I started have vibrating in my uterine area Gyno said she had never heard of it and I was fine. And again it wasn't the Merina. Started having terrible breast pain in my left breast and chest muscles and rib cage muscles were tender as well...Gyno and GP were stumped. Had NO idea what could be wrong with me. Told me to take vit E. So I did. No progress. I also talked to my GYN about mood. I was sad...mad...depressed...my world was going to fast for me to keep up. All the sudden I was diagnosed with anxiety. Put on Clexa 20mg. Made my body tingle all over and didn't like it one bit made me have anxiety attacks like I had never had before and hot flashes. The doctor told me to take Omega 3..It did it didnt help. So I quit taking the Clexa. I couldn't lose any weight no matter how much I exercised and how much I dieted. I have a huge tire around my waist. I had migraines which I have had most of my life but these were different...these were worse! I couldn't sleep...eat...play with my kids..thought I was dieing! So I told my Gyno I wanted the Merina out..but they didnt want to take it out..first they wanted to try antibiotics in case of any hidden infections..didn't work...I Finally got pissed enough they took it out on October 31st 2011!

I felt immediate relief from the pressure and bloated feeling it constantly gave me. But I asked what should I expect after and they said nothing but spotting. I was completely unaware of the "Mirena Crash" About a few weeks of having it removed I started having tingling in my fingers..toes...arms...along with muscle spasms..not painful but annoying! Tail bone pain...pelvic pain...constipation..constant headache now on the right side...left arm joints sometimes aggravate me. Shoulder stiffness...middle of back stiffness...Awful acne I had never had in my life...I even have it on my back. Tired all the time..anxiety...depression...catch myself yelling at my kids and boyfriend of 7 years for the smallest stupidest stuff!..The breast pain has decreased...and so had the lump on the back of the neck behind right ear. I FEEL LIKE I WILL NEVER GET MY OLD SELF BACK! Most of my symptoms are around my period time. Which has become sooo very heavy..I had never had that in my life either!

Anybody having these problems? Or have any suggestions?
