Womb, just reading your beauty thread, applaud! =) They said I didn't have lupus after I was diagnosed with it 25 yrs ago, the test was way low and they decided it wasn't it at all despite the flares with that rash so who knows, could be the IVIG is triggering this to this level because before I had mini flares that I got under control fairly quick. It's all immune related and they cross over. IVIG is immunolglobulin by IV to bring up my antibody levels. Do I need them in the norm range? They are half what a normal lab is but maybe that's just the way God made me! Just because their tests say I need this doesn't mean it's the gospel. Besides, I believe my day is predestined, no amount of anything will change that, however, what is important is quality of life, not quantity. I'm tired of this battle, I am fine to be low level antibody, the only thing I noticed before I ever had any infusions was that I was very tired very early in the day and needed a nap..so what, I can do that again. Sure I'd been sick forever but I didn't notice til they started adding things into my body based on their tests. I'm done with it.
