If you also apply heat to the infected area, the infection should clear up.

Endocarditis is an inflammation of the inner layer of the heart, the endocardium. It is extremely unlikely that a mouth infection will spread to the heart if you use oregano oil.
Streptococcus mutans is the name of a specific bacteria, which can cause infections. There are many different types of bacteria.
