If you take oregano oil, it will prevent the infection spreading to other parts of the body. It will also clear up an infection if it has already spread.

If you also apply heat to the infected area, the infection should clear up.

If you have a tooth cavity which causes constant inflammation, you should have it filled (with a filling which does not contain amalgam).

Endocarditis is an inflammation of the inner layer of the heart, the endocardium. It is extremely unlikely that a mouth infection will spread to the heart if you use oregano oil.

Streptococcus mutans is the name of a specific bacteria, which can cause infections. There are many different types of bacteria.
