I read an FAQ on that issue and it said it's because some nutritionists will include foods that turn to acid later on in their acids. It said the thing to do was try things yourself and that the acid/alkaline chart is something to stick to MOST of the time...so if cream was not helping, you'd more than make up for it with the alkalines that are the same on every chart. It's just that since I am in candida cleanse mode, I am stuck on the vegetables.

Or this chart could mean to continue with the protocol you are on, but just add in heavy amounts of dandelion greens and kale to control acidity while you are working on relief...Like if you do best eating lots of chicken breast, here's a way to stop all the acidity from the high protein plan.

And dairy is a mystery one on a lot of acid/alkaline charts. I chose to leave it out because candida seems to cause a hard time digesting dairy and some people say allergies to milk, soy, egg, and gluten can cause candida. Me, my friend, and one of my students had lactose intolerance before candida, but indulged sometimes.
