Nice long reply. See, I will have to look up oxalates. I have no idea what they are or what they do...I don't really like almonds. I can care less about them. Actually, if I eat them every day, they make me sick. Almond milk is suprisingly okay ... Now, I mix coconut milk and almond milk in my coffee...I've not seen flax milk yet. Wow, I am getting it as soon as come across it. Flax seed and everything from it is extremely good for you. The taste is great too. I bake flax seed "bread" on a regular basis. I don't know, however, whether flax is acidic or alkaline forming...
Post your urine and other results when you get them. I am curious to know.
I just bought kefir today. Oh so yummy. I missed it so much...
coconut: I also use coconut flour, coconut milk, as well as coconut oil. I cook with coconut oil. I sometimes eat it by spoonfuls to keep hunger away and give me energy. It's a pretty good stuff in my opinion. I get absolutely no bad reaction from it whatsoever.
The last time I had my blood work done (in Dec 2011), my overall cholesterol was high in average , yet my good cholesterol was very high too. My risk of heart attack was less than 50%. At the time, I ate a lot of heavy cream too and I know that one causes me to get "cholesterol headaches". I believe coconut oil will lower your bad cholesterol significantly.
Like you say. Part of it is what you don't do. Part of it is what you do.
