Rainy, I just watched division. He is saying that Jesus is the way, when in effect he is saying Christianity is the way.

This is the "chatter" that I referred to that I eliminated from mind for it questioned ones beliefs in God, the way that if it is not the Christian way through Jesus then it is not valid.

That to me is arrogance. I do not say that the way to God is not through Jesus but for a man to stand before his audience and put other religious beliefs down is not the way that I envision Jesus Christ.

Yes he might have said "I am the way" but he was talking to his flock.
Remember, many other religions came after him so there would be no need for him to say it. It is man "chatter" that has created this, not Jesus, nor God himself.
Before it was paganism, not recognised as religions and all with more than one god.

When I found God it did not involve religion. Jesus was not religious so how can this person put Christianity before others and spell out how one must behave to even approach God.

Well as you know this is the dogma that man has created for himself. To have the power over others in effect saying the Way to God is through him and what he represents.
