Use Silybum marianum and Globe artichoke

I suggest taking Silybum marianum, commonly called Milk thistle or St Mary's thistle, as well as Globe artichoke, to promote the health of the liver.

Don't do any more flushes until your liver has had time to recover.

If you do any liver flushes in the future, use herbs such as dandelion and barbery to flush the liver. You may also include other herbs. You can look in herbal medicine references and find other cholagogues.

Herbs can be used in a way which promotes the health of the liver and gallbladder, and the flush is more gentle on the liver and gallbladder, and the body generally.
