Thank you so much! I think that will do it. I ordered a camera flash that I can use for the basic circuit. I'll have to try and trace out the schematic, and hopefully draw it right. Then, I can insert the coil wires in line with the flash tube. The circuit lists the coil specs, and I found a source for speaker crossover coils with the same specs. Lastly, and this will be a trick: I can use the SCR trigger circuit shown in place of the test button in the flash to auto trigger it. I will let you know if it works! Maybe our efforts can help someone else. This thing has a lot of potential, and can be made for cheap with a little work, I think!
