As you know, the instructions say 'increase by 1 capsule per night, taken with the evening meal'...and that seems to be what you've done.

But over the years on this forum, many people have experienced the 'once a day turbo-blast' that you're reporting. And when that happens, I suggest that folks stagger the IF#1 capsules throughout the day. For instance, start by trying 3 with breakfast and 4 with supper...and adjust from there, depending on the results.

If I remember correctly, a couple of people have ended up taking 2-3 (or more) with each meal.

Another thing to consider is that (for some) the capsules don't "melt" until they're at the lower end of the small intestines (or in the colon). A few people take the powder without the capsules; another option is to swish the capsules with water/saliva in your mouth for awhile before you swallow them, which helps them to start 'melting' before you swallow them.

I'd try taking spreading them out first,(with the different meals or snacks), if it were me.
