Re: Probiotics - gluten and candida, and mercury

I know from painful, unpleasant experience that yes, I am intolerant to gluten, casein and soy protein (though I can tolerate soy lecithin just fine).

I used to have amalgams, but had them taken out. When I go on round on the Cutler protocol, I experience various up-and-down side effects, including some related to candida (flare-up and die-off). And I've used antifungals such as grape fruit seed extract and oil of oregano to kill candida, and experienced the die-off symptoms, and my candida getting better over time (but never completely, so I began to address mercury).

Anyway, what can you tell me about taking probiotics regarding these conditions - how are they supposed to help, and what should I take and how much and how often?
