First time posting...possible parasite?

I'm 23 and from NJ...I recently was diagnosed with IBS C and underwent a Colonoscopy. The findings were polyps to which they sent out a few for testing. I'm due to go in next Wednesday about the findings. I'm assuming nothing was found because I had the test 2 weeks ago and they had the findings a week ago and scheduled me for Wed. He only prescribed me a stool softener.

Anyway.

I've been passing stool only once a day, if that. There's always blood tinged mucus and maybe 3 rabbit pellet sized hard stools. I've been having pain on my left side.

The past 3 days, I've been passing these long, brown thread-like things in my stool. The thread is always connected to the stool. It took an hour to get the little stool that I had out, and both sides are hurting and I'm exhausted.

Does this look like any sort of Parasite you guys are familiar with?
