Alkalizing diet- Fruits

I have suffered major bloating and constipation for years now so i thought i would try the alkalizing diet which is been talked about a bit on here now. I have never given up fruits so im wondering if they are causing me my stomach problems, i eat loads of grapes!! For the people that are trying the alkalizing diet do you have any problems with fruits? I have given up meat, eggs and fats so i thought things would improve but they are just as bad. So the only thing i can think is that its the fruits, i want to give them up but then i struggle to know what else to eat.
