Seriously, she needs to learn what high blood sugar is doing to her body, and will do to her body, if she doesn't change her diet. High blood sugar without insulin makes her blood thick like molasses, so it can't get into the cells, therefore they die.

It's very hard to change eating habits, but it only takes a month of pain, and then the new diet becomes a habit.

Bring some tasty alternatives to what she likes and all the info you can. If she still refuses to listen there's nothing you can do. It must be common with diabetics because I know women who left their husbands because they were killing themselves with their diets, and one who stays with him even though he's losing toes. Stubborn or addicted, I don't know, but it's common.

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make her drink!" Ultimately, it's her life.
