Can the liver flush be done without Epsom Salts??

I don't believe I have any stones (although it seems most people probably do and are just unaware). I'm doing some major diet/lifestyle changes to improve my health/lose weight. I've done a parasite cleanse and colon cleanse. I'm overweight and I suspect my metabolism isn't functioning properly. From what I've read a liver/gallbladder flush should be very beneficial in restoring my metabolism.

It appears there are many different "methods" or "recipes" on how to do this flush. My Question: Can I do the week long flush but omit the Epsom Salts ? (the week long flush that includes 5 days of drinking apple juice then on the 6th evening you drink the lemon/oil concoction along with doing the epsom salt) I've been doing a modified Gerson diet for the last month (non of the supplements, but lots of juices, two coffee enemas per day, all vegan diet, tons of fruits/veggies), so I feel pretty "cleaned out". I'm wondering if I could substitute a coffee enema and sleeping with a hot water bottle over the liver area to take the place of the epsom salt? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems the salt is for two things clean out the intestines and relax the liver/gallbladder. Would a hot water bottle do the same? I don't want to do this wrong, but on the Gerson diet you are not allowed one bit of salt and if I can get along without using it.......I'd rather do that.
