You can make sodium ascorbate by mixing one teaspoon of ascorbic acid with a quarter to a half teaspoon of baking soda in a small amount of water. Wait until it stops fizzing and then add enough water to make a cup or so, and drink. This will provide 4 grams of sodium ascorbate. Dr. Gerard F. Judd wrote of this mixture: "This is about 1000 x as soluble as C, and is more reactive towards antibody and connective tissue construction and viral destruction."

I'm using this several times a day myself (as part of my approach to heal my gum condition), last night I reached "bowel tolerance" with diarrhea, which is a sign of how high I ought to go with this. Not a sign to stop using it!
