Agrimony is effective in treating diarrhea caused by undesirable microorganisms in the intestines, in conjunction with other things. This is likely to be where the idea that it tends to compact bowel movements comes from.

But the action I recommended for you, is that Agrimony is ideal for leaky gut and food allergies.

Other forms of medicine are not able to reduce food allergies, so people believe the only option is to avoid the offending foods. These herbs can reduce food allergies.
