i used sodium ascorbate because that was the type instructed on several tutorials

...i did use baking soda in my mouth after each dose but, (the only reason why i didnt add baking soda to the ascorbate, itself is because) it was my understanding that ascorbate plus baking soda would make something analagous to "est*r-c"/buffered c, and i had thought that "buffered c" has an affinity for different issues in the body and that it might not be as effective...

............i don't think i mentioned that i wanted to stop just because i had to run to the bathroom,
i'm not saying that - but my problem was not just a little running to the bathroom ...that continued for TWO DAYS of constant bathroom visits,

but much worse happened: SEVERE VOMITING for days, unbearable burning (BEYOND heartburn, different and worse!) of my esophagus that, i thought i was going to be DEAD, and inability to eat, drink, or swallow for days, even with taking 6 capsules worth of mastic gum powder daily, which has always has helped me thru even the worst bouts of heartburn i've had in my life, and i've had many, and i may have sustained PERMANENT DAMAGE to my esophagus, that (i will have to have an endoscopy) may put me at risk, GOD FORBID, for esophageal cancer now

...i don't know why my experience was so bad, but i would warn people against this, please consider before doing this... if i ever did this again, i would make sure to mix the baking soda into the solution, and i would pay attention with every single dose, whether i was starting to feel raw thru the tissues of my throat or chest and stop immediately at the slightest sign--

AND make sure u have a bottle of pepto bismol - i was without it, so i dont know if it would have made a dent at all in the agonizing burning in my chest, but all i know is, that hellish night i would have given anything to've had some to try!
