I like Frederic... I have read his controversy book - and frankly have to agree with his stance on the raw diet.

Folks who advocate the raw diet who are not eating enough sweet fruit - tend to eat something else eventually... they will either find themselves binging on nut butter, eating a heap of potatoes or sweet potatoes or rice.... or even worse... the DREADED DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW !!!!

Personally... I do not do well with much fat in my fruit diet at all. When I eat it... I feel sluggish and very very tired.

I have tried.. however (not for long cause it makes me feel greasy) a high fat diet (mostly from avocado, nuts, and oils) for a few days... the energy was OK.. but far from what you get on fruit for a burst.. but very steady. This type of diet cannot be healthy long term.. IT MAKES NO SENSE !!!!

As he states... when are fatty foods available in nature ?? Coicidentally... just before WINTER !!!! Perhaps we should be living on Avocados, nuts and seeds through the winter.... along with fasting..... then switch to the beloved citrus and into summer we come....????

I have to believe the fats have a place in our diet (why would they grow otherwise) - bit it is not full time.....
