You can't really, but you CAN tell if you are producing insufficient amounts of bile indicating that you NEED to flush.

One thing's for sure: if you are concerned about not producing enough bile for a successful flush, then the solution is definitely liver flushing :) just make sure you store as much bile as you can by omitting fats and meats, fasting on the day of flush etc.

If a few measly drips is all you can get...well, keep dissolving and softening the stones, keep exercising the gallbladder with flushing and keep eating as healthy as you can and eventually the bile flow will be sufficient to dislodge whatever is gumming you up.
