Too young to feel so sluggish!

I don't know if I have adrenal problems or not, this is just one thing that comes up when I type my array of symptoms into a search engine. I'm 37, thin, female - I've always felt like I get tired in the afternoon. I used to get in trouble in High School for falling asleep after lunch. I think I have probably always had some blood sugar issues because I get light headed, dizzy and nauseous if I don't eat very quickly after I get hungry and always feel like I'm in a stupor after lunch.

Anyway, it just seems like it's getting worse, the stupor lasts all afternoon till around 4pm. I can barely hold my head up. My vision is blurry, almost double sometimes, even though I have been to the eyedoctor recently for new contacts and told her the blurry vision - she said my eyes seemed fine. I have a sharp abdominal pain just to the right and a little lower than my belly button. I have lower back and side pain - in my kidney area. My right ear is painfully clogged, always. If I swallow it hurts really bad in my ear. I've been to the doctor and he looked in my ear and throat, said no infection probably allergies but then prescribed an antibiotic and a steroid - neither of which I even filled.

I've had numbness and tingling in my hands and feet and pain in joints, particularly hips, knees and ankles but sometimes shoulder. I feel tired and groggy and irritable and spaced out all the time. I don't do drugs or anything but I do drink beer pretty frequently, I switched to Non Alcoholic beer for a month or so and it really didn't help much. I smoked too and have now quit smoking, it's been 3 weeks. That seemed to help the ear pain somewhat, at leatst it doesn't throb in my sleep anymore.

I don't do doctors - I wish I knew what was wrong so I could look at some alternative therapy but with a random bunch of problems like this I'd end up spending thousands at the doctor just to be told there's nothing wrong with me.

I'm too young to feel so old!!!
