Backgrounding MrC's observation may include the following.

Many nutrients have increased rates of absorption when dissolved in fats or in the presence of fats. Many nutrients require fats for absorption. Hence the liposomal processes and the dietry fat requirement.

Lingual absorption is known to be better for various nutrients. It would strike me that combining the two may be a good move.

Potential lingual absorption bypasses the stomach acid influence which may be a bigger advantage than many realise.

However many questions remain.

The standard advice to dump the pulling oil after use, assuming that people are getting some form of detox. Does anyone know if this is proven? What I suspect may also be happening is that the oil stimulates liver function/response and that may be another benefit of OP. And related I suspect if oil is a nutrient absorption stimulant then oil probably opens other nutrient pathways. Where does dumping as opposed to swallowing fit in this picture?

Do we all pull twice: dump detox first, swallow nutrient load second. Or pull detox and nutrient absorb at the same time??

If we add various nutrients to the oil both their form and whether we swallow needs to be considered. The other question is whether it allows the best/easiest absorption process for the considered nutrients.

Is anyone interested in following these line of endevour and can we be systematic about it?

With the intensity of many supplement regimes on CZ having this means of nutrient absorption could be very handy particularly if we knew its effectiveness.
