Every try glucosamine *sulfate* for the joints. Works well for some who are not in really bad shape, including my parents and my right knee.

Every try magnesium, several times per day?

What foods do you crave that caused you to get to such a high weight. Dr. Daniel Amen's book is good for making the connection btw cravings and important brain chemicals.

How is your thyroid--Free T3?

When out of reasonable options you might consider a hair test where you look for heavy metals and also strangely fouled up essential elements. There are 600+ here along with symptom lists.
