Hurrah! It was just allergies!! Constipation gone!!!!!

Briefly, I had bad, bad C for decades. I found a new doc who is holistic (real MD) who gave me both a poop test (which I noted in a message below, saying I'll say more when there is more) and a food sensitivity blood test -- IgG4.

Well, my poop is fine.

However, I am severely (test word) allergic to dairy and moderately (test word) allergic to eggs.

I stopped these cold turkey less than a week ago and now I am pooping like a champ.

I didn't change anything else. I just increased the other foods I was eating to make up for the lack of dairy and eggs.

Oh, I am also slightly allergic to cashews, apricots and lamb. Now I never, ever eat ba-bas, so perhaps it's from lanolin in my vitamin D pill? Didn't ask doc, since it didn't occur to me till later.

It could be a deep lamb allergy -- when I was a kid I'd itch horribly from wool. Of course, that didn't make any diff at home. I was basically told that I don't itch and get over it.

Anyway, if you can -- get your doc to do this test. You can get all the info from the company, Metametrix, and just take the info to your doc.

It's made a huge difference to me.
