So you're suggesting that the sodium is what's helping - the sodium in "sodium alginate" rather than the rest of it?

Either way, my experience is that taking this versus not taking it, there's a big difference. A big difference in favor of taking algin, which gives me more energy, makes me less hungry, reduces side effects of chelation, etc. But then, I admit my diet doesn't really have much sodium in it. My sunflower butter contains Sea Salt , but that's about it.

If that's the case, how much sodium should be enough to help out? I assume there are sodium supplements out there and I haven't looked. Maybe I could try replacing my sodium alginate with sodium itself and see if there's bigger improvements?

I have, however, seen people say that algin has helped them, but not many people on here seem to even mention. Most of the posts I've seen mentioning algin while searching the archives indicate that it does help. It's also mentioned as supposedly being useful for liver support.
