Thanks,
I'm supposed to be taking what are marked as " colecalciferol 20,000 UNIT Capsules " once a day.
Although after taking just one I tend to feel very dizzy and sick and don't see much improvement. I've debated on taking digestive enzymes although I know most digestive enzymes contain betaine hcl and having high stomach acid problems that's always put me off.
Saywhatagain -
Thanks,
I was thinking the antibiotics may have affected my liver as well as my intestines , I also developed acne around the time of my other problems and alwyas thought my liver may have had something to do with that. I've never had a drop of alcohol in my life and I'm avoiding all sugar now other than trying fruit last week. I'm only drinking water now also.
Do you think it's possible the candida itself could be putting some strain on my liver ?. I'm not sure the antibiotics affected my liver directly since the vitamin D deficiency is a rather new diagnosis as are the symptoms that come with it whereas the digestive , vitamin and weight problems came instantly after taking the course of antibiotics.
I'm under the impression that the antibiotics affected my liver ( most likely candida overgrowth ) and then the candida combined with my almost cutting out all carbs for a while put strain on my liver.
My local doctor though seems to think the vitamin D deficiency is to do with the problem my gastro thinks I have with my intestines and that the elevated liver enzymes are a side effect of the vitmain D deficiency.
At this point I'm just trying to find what seems to work best for my body for the time being and am very interested to see if my gastroenterologist finds anything from the intestinal biopsy. Does anybody know if this would pick up candida overgrowth ?.
