I am glad you asked. First understand that this is a prophetic medicine and so we follow the ways of our Prophet to get the best health. He mixed the ground seeds and honey together in the palm of his right hand and he licked it up with his tongue. We have also been guided that the blessed seed meant two things: honey and black seed. So the honey has many many cures in itself.

Now the seeds are tart and will cause stomach distress and that is why we suggest they be heated first. So if the oil is cold pressed seeds? Then it makes sense that the oil is harsh on your stomach too. Right? So by mixing the oil with the honey, you avoid this. Second make sure to take them on an empty stomach. I have seen people, ie my mom get sick when they took them on a full stomach. The seeds that are heated can be taken any time.

I have an energy mixture I make and have found that indeed it gives you energy but it does not heal as well as taking the oil and the honey together. Again I must imagine that we should take the medicine as we have been guided.
