My friend, his father and his daughter have this. The father's thyroid has been removed. My friend was reported for child abuse because he wouldn't let them remove his daughter's thyroid.

I usually start in about Iodine at the first mention of thyroid problems but want to research this more first.

Does anyone have experience with this type of thyroid condition?

Any information appreciated. Meantime I'll be searching the archives.
