I have a question:

Many Christian churches say that Jesus died on the cross to save us. Through Jesus we are saved because of his sacrifice on the cross. What I cannot understand is if that is true, how come they try to convert you. After all, Jesus did not die for just the Christians alone, he died for all people, past and present. Through Jesus we are saved. So, if we are saved, who are they trying to save then by converting to their church?
