I can relate as day 8 was my breaking point the last time I tried to mc. Yet here I am on day 10! Can't believe it. I too cannot stand the way my mouth tastes or my breath smells. :-(

I like Vickie's suggestion to chew on lemon peel. I never thought of that! Also you may like to drink mint, or parsley tea as they both act as a natural deodorant for the mouth & body from the inside out. Plus they offer a lot of other benefits for detox. I think that the parsely works best but the mint tastes better. Besides this I brush my teeth, tongue & floss a lot more per day then I normally would.

Anyway, just wanted to say that it's normal. And that if you can hang in there 2 more days, or how ever long you are planning on mcing I believe it will be well worth it. I have absolutely no discipline & I made it to day 10. So if I can do it then I truly believe that you can too! :~)
