If you're only doing 10 days, the weight loss will be crap and water retention. Stuff that you need to lose. If you've never fasted or have done any cleansing before, you can easily have like 10 extra pounds of that. The Master Cleanse isn't a weight/fat loss diet, it's a detox/cleansing.

But to not lose any other weight, just have the 12 glasses of lemonade instead of the minimum of 6. That would be 1200 calories instead of 600 calories. In the book it also says for people who need to gain weight, you can use extra maple syrup.
